This dreamy, vintage-inspired styled shoot is a very personal project for the photographer, Heather of gemmer photography. It took her months to plan (and lots of wonderful vendors to help out), but the result is an ambitious and intimate shoot that portrays the bond between sisters in a unique way. Heather says, My dear friend and design assistant, Rachael Driscoll, collaborated with me on this project! We both have a dear bond with our own sisters, so we started brainstorming. We wanted the session to be playful, yet dreamy and other-worldly… with a touch of Jane Eyre-like scenery and dainty sophistication mixed with the delightful abandon of youth.
Many of the amazing vintage props come from Heather’s personal collection, and she made the headpieces by hand! Don’t you love the sisters’ pillow fight?
