Today, I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to our new sponsor, Royal Steamline ~ a full service design studio in Portland that specializes in invitations with a vintage, clockwork, dark or otherwise unusual flavor. I absolutely love their style!
Each of their designs tells a unique story, inspired by a love for art, film, novels and historical relics of bygone eras. Since 2006, they’ve worked with hundreds of couples across the globe to create invitations that set the perfect tone for their weddings.
Royal Steamline was founded by a husband and wife design team, and they offer custom work in a readymade fashion: you select a design from the catalog and then personalize it with your details. They currently have more than 100 original vintage, steampunk, retro and gothic designs with more being added all the time.
All Royal Steamline stationery is printed at a local print house that emphasizes green practices, and they offer an assortment of high quality papers and thick, luxurious envelopes.
Royal Steamline has three invitation lines:
- Signature Series: The invitations that launched Royal Steamline: unique combinations of color, typeface and layout that convey a sense of eras strange and forgotten. These invitations come in a standard A7 size, and are flat printed on premium linen card stocks.
- Silhouette Series: Using rich, black ink printed on a wide range of papers, the Silhouette Series showcases the beauty of monochrome design. Royal Steamline’s most affordable invitations, this series offers unconventional style and originality without exceeding your budget.
- Studio Series: Direct from the laboratory, the Studio Series features designs of unusual sizes, finishes, and details that truly personalize the design. Looking for foil stamping, detachable RSVPs, or specialty papers? The Studio Series combines the markings of superlative production with characteristic Royal Steamline style.
