{real couple} Celeste + Craig’s Muppet-y Bowling Alley Reception

by Erika Borrowed Bleu on November 12, 2010

Celeste and Craig are clearly a couple after my own heart… You guys had me at “Muppet!” Yesterday, you saw their beautiful and sweet sunset beach ceremony captured by the fabulous Photography by Verdi, but today is all about their cute and quirky bowling alley reception!

How many couples can say they have muppet look-alikes? I, for one, am extremely envious! Celly and Craig (and their plush doppelgangers) were joined by 180 friends and relatives at the glow-in-the-dark Levittown Lanes. There was bowling, of course, as well as karaoke, dancing, food, limbo… an all-around great time!

A few highlights from the bowling reception: a set of bowling pins and markers for guests to sign (a great guestbook alternative); dancing and karaoke with DJ Colleen Crumbcake; and “mini-me” fondant replicas of their muppets and bowling-themed cupcakes made by their friend Alessia from Free Spirit Cake Co.!

Celly kept her lemon yellow dress on and donned a pair of neon yellow and pink glow-in-the-dark bowling shoes, while Craig wore a tux T-shirt. Hairstylist Laura Lotito did Celly’s hair in pin curls.

Celly won the bowling tournament, so her look-alike kept watch on her trophy!

Many thanks to Photography by Verdi for the fantastic photos ~ and congrats to Celly and Craig! You two are clearly the perfect pair!
