Ashley and Russell’s February wedding at the Japanese gardens in Delray Beach, Florida, was not short on gorgeous floral accents, fabulous lighting and ambience and modern flair. Alexi Shields Photography had the honor of capturing their wedding day ~ from the sushi to the lucky bamboo!
Ashley says, We wanted something outside and both Russell and I are interested in Japanese culture. Once we saw the lake at Morikami and the beautiful gardens, we knew right away it was what represented us the most. My favorite flowers are stargazer lilies… After the wedding, I must say I’m more of a pink person now… never thought I was! Those flowers are my favorite, and once I decided I was also going to have those for my bouquet, there sprung the idea for the tattoo so it could also be seen in my wedding dress. The “kiss” definitely was the most memorable moment of the day!!
