Dawn + Kevin’s Winery Wedding by KB Digital Designs

Dawn and Kevin had an amazing spring wedding at the Twining Vine Winery in Castro Valley, California. Replete with DIY details and a rustic green and brown palette, their day was simply perfect, as you’ll see in these great shots from KB Digital Designs.

If there were three things that were most important to us in planning our wedding day it was: (1) that what happened beyond that one day was more important so we’d have to do it on a total budget; (2) that it should reflect both of our personalities, i.e. great music (I walked down the aisle to an acoustic instrumental of “Here Comes the Sun”), a gourmet food truck, an instant camera guest book and a lacey open-back gown with a vintage-vibe; (3) and that we’d have our closest family and friends all together to celebrate. We did just that! It was an amazing day, but the best part about it was the road there -5 of us hot-gluing bunting flags on my parent’s dining room table… finding scrap wood on the side of the road and my dad carving, cutting and crafting all our signs, centerpieces and decor… the designing, printing and production line assembling the invitations over pizza and beer with friends – we had a blast! The result was a handmade mix of both our roots (woodsy and rustic) and our LA lives (urban and industrial). Think mint green, silver ,wood, chalkboards and delicate details like curly grape vines in the boutonnieres with my great grandmother’s lace and freshly torched creme brulee, all set against a gorgeous vineyard nestled in a serene East SF Bay Area canyon (with no cell service). ~ Dawn
